Default Z1 Intake installation

Just installed my new intake and everything is working just fine, but it came with a bracket and I have no idea where it goes. There are no mounting flanges on the tube for this to bolt to? It seems to be pretty sturdy being held up by the rubber couples, but I just don't want it to fall off and have my MAF fly into my belts..I can't find installation instructions anywhere.. If needed I can go outside and snap a pic of the bracket.

Snap a pic. Then I can assist your assessment of said "bracket"

I'm guessing that you are referring to a small(thin with a twist)bracket?
This intake is similar to the JWT Popcharger. You may want to click on a pic of this
unit.If thats the bracket you are talking about--its the only one,it bolts to the cast mounting plate, runs over to the right, bolts onto the small "ledge" support infront of the
strut bar plate. This bracket supports the intake assembly. It should have locking washers.
Be careful not to overtighten the bolt going intothe back of the cast mounting plate.
It can easily strip...soft material.Suggest using some Locktite on all bolts. There is quite a bit of vibration in that area.
