Default Fast Intentions HFC Gasket Question

I purchased a used HFC for my 2007. Is there a gasket that needs to used between the manifold and hfc?

Fast intentions only provided a gasket for the hfc to y-pipe section. I am not sure whether high temp silicone alone will be good enough for the manifold to hfc connection.

Thanks!

yes indeed you need a gasket there. I had re-used the OEM metal gasket but my Berks came with a replacement fiber gasket as well.

It looks like 2007 and up uses an o-ring type of gasket that is designed for the OEM cat. It resembles the crush washer used in the oil bolt. Models prior to 2006 use an actual triangular gasket. I checked the Berk site and it looks like the shape of their gasket would not match at that connection. Does anyone have a suggestion?

These instructions came directly out of the FI install guide. They state that the o-ring gasket should not be reused but I am hesitant about leaving it as-is.

I got a CEL by using the silicone gasket maker. Can anyone recommend a good gasket to use for the cat to manifold location?
