Oxygen Sensors and Test Pipes
Hey folks, just installed test pipes and now that pesky CEL comes on even after clearing the codes.
If I delete those sensors (unplug them from the connectors) will that keep the light off after clearing the codes?
OR
Is there a dummy sensor that tricks the computer?
Thanks!

Just a comment that relates to the OP's problem and others...
How many times does someone post a "in trouble" message wanting to
find a way out of a problem. These are usually DIY situations.Seems if
you don't have the needed expertise, proper tools etc,.it may be better
to take your car to a shop that does these mods on a daily basis. For sure,
its gonna cost you for the labor, but you'll prolly get the job done right.
Awhile ago,I had some HFC's installed.I could have tackled the job. However,
I did'nt have the tools, the experience on what I may have run into.Furthermore,
to waste a entire weekend trying to get it right, possibly busting a bolt or two,
listening to my wife complain...was not worth it.I took it to Z1 Motorsports.
Cost me $100 labor.Everything works like a charm. No codes to worry about, just a job well done.
Man,life is too short.
Work smart.

Do not unplug them. You'll throw the same code and will then have to find something to plug the hole. Either pack the hole with steel wool or buy a 02 bung. I am running 02 non Foulers on mine and they work like a charm. Haven't thrown a code in like a year
For the smart *** at the top,
I did do my research and the search engine for this forums is a joke.
For the other guy, when I was doing RESEARCH some sayed fouler set up would make your car run lean. Have you noticed performance difference?
