Just FYI - On PPE's website, the black 1600F coating is +$60 more than the polished 1300F coating. http://www.ppeengineering-onlinestor...&categoryId=45

i looked at jet hot's site:

http://www.jet-hot.com/coatings/jet-hot-extreme-1300/

it doesnt show that they make a 1600F finish... just 1300, 2000 and 2500... i wonder what coating the black one is?

yes, non stepped is all 1.75"...

supposedly one is a 1300F coating (chrome) and one is a 1600F coating (black), but i think PPE should really respond to this officially... them or tougelabs... tougelabs is professionally racing a car with the 1300F coating if that says anything...

Hey guys, I highly recommend you go non-stepped. You will feel a stumble down low. With 5ATs, you will bog on launches, too.
