As I mentioned in that thread, his car is cammed which makes it better able to take advantage of the headers. I suggested that they do some testing on a DE with stock cams and got flamed by some of the G35 guys saying it wouldn't make any gains.

I understand your thought process but we are not just a shop selling PPE Products. I'm a sponsored driver for them I'm putting a call into them today to see what we can put together and I will let all you guys know.

Our event is this weekend so I'm thinking next week or the week after for sure I can get some dyno time in and will certainly keep everyone up to date. I drove it down the street into an industrial park the other day and I can't even express how much of a difference it is compared to the DC shorts with AAM tests.

Yes I'm cammed with S1 cams to try and copy what SG did they had Nismo cams which are similar to the S1.

Remember SG tested their LTH on a DE with a 10hp gain they even said cams are needed to take advantage.

Revup and HR cams have more duration than DEs and can be adjusted both intake and exhaust sides.

Revups and HRs should show similar gains like SG with PPE headers design with reducer.

My original headers were exactly like 512z my new ones are not stepped the other difference is the reducer at the merge.

Before I got my new headers I put 2.5-2in reducers in my y pipe and my low end picked up and shared my results with
PPE.

Who wouldn't want SG like gains from headers for half the price.

.

now im really interested in getting the old design step headers with the new style collector... seems like that might be a worthy set for them to build, based on their results from the first few sets. what do u think denchan?

They need to keep the step and add the reducer at the merge. I'll post the dyno sheet with the reducers and the old design stepped headers.

I had gains throughout the powerband.

I bet if 512Z either adds reducers or change to stepped with the reducer he would gain more.

The reducer at the merge is identical to SG's reduced to 2.25 then gradually back to 2.5.

Shouldn't be a problem to weld that reducer on when they make them.

Don't need to add a reducer to my SGs.
