Why wouldn't this include the HR? In the first post:

So...I'm in unless I missed something and the Group Buy is only for the DE version...

So what's the last day to get in on the GB? I'm still waiting on any real evidence that they are an improvement over shorty headers & TPs on a stock-cammed DE. At $900, it's tough to pass up though.

What applications will work better with Stepped vs. Non-Stepped HR long tubes? I have funds available to get in on this GB, but I am new to the Z.

I have stock HR intakes w/ filter swap and HPS tubes. Fujitsubo Legalis R 3" Y-back exhaust. I will soon have a Resonated XYZ and Uprev. The only decision left to make is Long Tubes or ART pipes? NOS a possibility, but not anytime soon (and only if I cannot beat my bro-in-laws Charger).

You seem to be a top end guy, I would go with the stepped ! I would also ditch the 3" exhaust asap it's killing your power honestly.

I got the Fujitsubo purely for the sound suppression. I've only had it a week, so I doubt it will be coming off any time soon. I do understand that I'll be missing out on some available HP/TQ, but I am attempting to keep the car as quiet as a free-flowing exhaust will allow. It's my DD and weekend toy.

What Y-back configuration would you recommend? I can always add resonators.

Sorry, if it was pointed out earlier but can someone direct me to the discussion/explanation of stepped vs non-stepped?

Also, Tougelabs, how do you know if the 3" exhaust is reducing his power or not?

Honestly if they add the reducer at the merge as the non stepped, stepped would be good for everyone.

Gains on a non cammed DE I predict similar to what SG gained on their DE G35 10-12hp.

Glad to see everyone is jumping on these. I sent PPE my stock manifolds and cats back in Oct to possibly make these for us.

I put them on discovered a lowend drop and working with them decided to add a reducer due to my testing of adding a reducer in my exhaust showed gains hence the new design.

I had the stepped and now the non stepped on my car. The car hauls now from a stop where as before it didn't until 4500. I didn't lose much topend going to the non stepped.

So your welcome enjoy the gains from these headers!!

Honestly HR and rev up guys shouldn't worry if there are gains. Mostly anything that show gains on a DE gains more with a rev up or HR engine as history has shown.

Sorry for that quick reply 350 with out fact to back up my statement. A true dual 3" on a naturally aspirated 350/370 will not make useful power gains over a 2.5" true dual. The 3" dual may make more power but it's so far up in rpm "power band" it's not worth it unless your a top speed type driver. I know all of our guys with the 370's and G37's saw the best result on the track running a single 3".
