u mean why waste money on any of THOSE headers... there are plenty of headers that power on HR motors, they just didnt appear in the op's list...
basically... anything megan, top speed, or obx, is better off left as dumpster decorations. the best advice i can give you is spend money on quality parts . saving is a good exercise. the rewards from it are long term, in more ways than one. the fujita's and berks aren't a bad start, although, i personally would have left the stock airboxes and got k&n filters. as for the exhaust, there are a lot better options than what you are currently running... like the motordyne xyz and one of their single exhausts. if u want longtubes, get the ppe's. take it for what its worth, its just mho.

My guess is that most of the gains that you will see from the OBX headers are from eliminating the cats -- in other words, you'd probably get the same results just from swapping in test pipes.
Especially on the HR, which has better flowing exhaust manifolds than the DE.
I don't think shorties would be worthwhile on an HR, for the same reason mentioned above.
*Quality* longtubes, I believe are worth it. Hence why I am awaiting some PPEs The OBX LTH's do not have a merge collector. It's more of a merge dump.

I have had the OBX longtubes for about 8 months with zero issues. Fitment was great and there's plenty of room by the fuel lines and steering shaft which seems to be a problem area with most knockoff short headers. Now the only reason I installed these is because I had my engine out, they were cheap and I was tired of replacing broken test pipes(expensive & knockoff brands).
If you're looking for N/A power gains then longtubes should be on the bottom of your list, they are a PITA to install for minimal gains.

Just installed OBX 370z LTH on my 07 G35. Pain in the tail install. Not sure if I made any power, but the tires want to break free sooner. Fitment is good though. I have it running into the factory catback. Still getting used to the sound.

which OBX header??
Super bump
Only for 350z owners that have ran OBX LTH: on a DE motor, which OBX LTH is the one to get? The 370z Fast Intention rep? I want to avoid hitting the rack as much as I can.
Again: only asking ppl who have experience with this. I don't want opinions or "search" BS
