Default What are some cheap ways to make a 2003 350z louder?

Anyway to make it a little louder, I don't want it insanely loud, but louder than stock. When I say cheap, I mean less than a $1000 exhaust system. So not like that $2 mod to make to it louder that I read a little while ago. Any ideas? I've heard things about straight pipes or y pipes but I don't want to take my mufflers off. So what do you guys think?

ps. I was going to do a search but I'm busy right now so I decided to just ask this now and I'll check it later tonight

Ice pick into the muffler followed by a smash by a claw hammer.
ZERO cost.
That should do it.

Actually, I believe I said I was going out for the night and wanted some responses for when I got back. Don't ever tell anyone to die, it's not cool or funny.

exactly but you have to check back here later tonight, so instead dont be lazy and search.

second point...........funny my job tells me the exact opposite in fact my first position actually required me to say "die mother f'er die" so a 3-5 second burst became muscle memory........... so move along ill continue to tell people that especially since its part of my job description(well shooting them not really telling them to go do it, easier for me if they do it themselves.)

Step 1: Remove your exhaust.
Step 2: Remove your cats.

That's as cheap as it gets.

On a more serious note, under $1000 = replica exhaust + test pipes. Beware of rasp.

I've been lazy, I know laziness, and this thread is not
this guy just broke a record of being too far from the "do it yourself" concept by
posting this thread man

I'm not sure who it was who came up with the saying "there is no such thing as a stupid question..." but what I am quite sure of is the fact that you've never met.
