Default Megan Racing Headers Yes/No???

I can buy Megan Racing headers that have been PC'd black for $150. They have never been installed. What do you guys think? I have heard both positive and negative things about Megan racing products! They are for a 04 350z. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Just keep your stock headers...in case something happens or you don't like the added noise.

The old Megan test pipes used to crack easily, then they were replaced with more reliable ones. Idk abouth headers but I guess they're made of the same material.
Get them, worst case scenario is losing $150.

New megan racing headers are very good quality, I have the set geared towards HR/370z motors and the fitment was perfect, I do recall one of the bends in the manifold made it veryyyy tough to tighten a bolt but other than that they have been great.

Been on car about 5k miles no problem, but to be honest, didn't really notice much gains money probably better spent elsewhere... although the openings were definetely larger and ported nicely I am sure it is complemented by any F/I via Turbo/Nitrous/SC as a better breathing alternative..

If anything go OBX long tubes for 370z I wish I would have gone that route...

In the wise words of Cee Lo Green..

Anyways decided not to bother with them after looking at dynos and realizing the cost of installing headers. My money will be spent else where.

Headers of any type are a waste of time&money on a Z.
I'l sell you my Nismo's,but I don't want to go through all the
labor to take e'm off.You will not realize any gain worth the
expense. The only value is basically "vanity".Bragging that
you have headers!

hmm i've always heard bad things about OBX.. glad to hear som positives, i know for my 3000gt they'd been rebadged and sold by 3sx. thats good to know though that their stuff isnt total ****
Back on topic though, yea my buddy put headers on his z, said it was the biggest waste of money he'd ever done, plus to get them installed is expensive as hell and you dont get much gains, i wouldnt even worry aboutthem

not really worth it unless your looking for over 550 to the wheels with FI beyond that the stock headers are too small to make any significant power as has been shown repeatedly by different members here.

Now if do intend to go beyond that then go for it, im running megans and regularly get em red hot with no cracks or issues and thats with them jet hotted and heat wrapped.
