Default ? about veilside Ti exhaust.

The website states "cat-back".. but ive noticed many JDM exhausts are "y-back" .. can someone confirm this?

Also, the website states 80mm piping (3.15in) .. this seems great for FI. Can someone confirm this also?

It is definitely Y-pipe back. I confirmed that with a retailer a while ago.

well techincally it's cat back. there is a cat right before the Y split. It is 80MM so it should be adequate for the turbo, if you can find 90-100 even better.

Dual 2 1/2" pipes flow more than one 3" pipe. Adequate enough for 550 to 600 hp at the wheels. Since turbos are only putting down 350 to 400 hp, then you still have room in the exhaust for increased boost and hp. Might want to find a 3" Y-pipe first, or have one made.

What Y pipe would be best to go with the veilside exhaust since its 80 mm. I believe the JIC is 60 mm and Fujitsubo is 70mm? Any out there that are also 80mm and will the smaller diameter make that big of a difference?
