The top 3 I would buy. I own #1. Then, for a street car that I just want a little more sound/performance , the above followed by.
1. Tanabe hyper medallion touring
2. Nismo
3. Any other OEM style aftermarket system.
I like your #1 pick haha! In person I've seen/heard the Invidia, Stillen, Borla and Nismo all on 350Zs. I admit that they all have good full tones; I think the Invidia wrapped up is pretty agressive. Didn't hear the Borla in full rowdiness, but I did hear the Stillen vs Nismo on a 60 mph 3rd gear freeway pull with my friends and they both have a deep full sound that is very impressive; hard for me to choose between those two; Stillen was on an HR, the Nismo on an '06 rev up. I'd like to hear the Borla really hit it, but even so It would be tough to beat the MD. I'm planning to get a camera setup like I did before and post up some high rpm action, then do some high speed flybys.

OP, I have an authentic Nismo S-Tune muffler coming up for sale in the next few weeks. Item is with my household goods delivery, so it's still not in my possession. The muffler was damaged from shipping so this one was never installed. The tips are bent and would have to be replaced. The actual muffler is also bent but not noticeable when installed. I'll send you confirmation pics if you're interested. A brand new Nismo S-Tune muffler alone is over $1K. By the way, I already tried to sell it here a few years ago. You can search for that thread if you want.

No one has provided the obvious answer - the Fujitsubo Legalis R is the same as the Nismo S-Tune, except for slightly different exhaust tips. It also never came with a Y-pipe. Every once in a while you'll see a vendor with new ones for $600-700, so maybe do some searching.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the Bassani catback system. True dual exhaust, sounds very similar to the Nismo, maintains the factory look/appeal, and offers good power gains. It also eliminates that giant tank of a muffler poking down past the bumper(never liked that thing). The exhaust tips are slightly larger than stock/Nismo which isn't really a bad thing imo.

Other than the price I don't really see any major cons to it. You can find plenty of vids of it on youtube.

Haven't been on in awhile, but I have a ton of parts for sale. This is my ad for my Nismo exhaust I bought off the forum. I actually bought it and never installed it for 3 years, lol.

^^^Is this a Nismo S-tune exhaust? or the factory Nismo exhaust from a Nismo Z 2007-08?

Are you including everything from the cat-back? (y-pipe, midpipe, and muffler)

It is the S-Tune by Weldina. I can include the JIC Y pipe for a total of $700.
