Exhaust leak help!
Hi, thanks for taking your time to try to help.
I installed my test pipes today and there's a slight leak on the driver side where it meets the y-pipe. If i hold it with my hands and make it tighter a tad bit, it goes away but I don't have the tools right now to fix it. Any temporary solutions to fix it until Monday when I can take it to the shop to have it fixed?
Also, I was thinking of putting 2 exhaust gaskets instead of 1 to make it even tighter. Would that work?
Thanks!

I don't understand. You're gonna take it to somebody monday to get it "fixed" but you want a temporary fix until then. Apparently, you can do the temporary fix but not the permanent one yourself?
If you have a leak, the usual fix is to tighten it more.

i would just wait until monday if you dont want to do any work yourself
gasket maker is like paste that you can put on the connection but it looks messy and not the right way to fix it IMO
the way i would go about fixing it is just to tighten the bolts, it will probably take 5 minutes.
the leak can wait until monday it may just be annoying if you have a hiss, and the smell but theres no reason it cant wait a few days if you want to take it to a shop
