I no longer trust any part from ebay. I'm even skeptical when it says its a name brand part and used.

I've never had a good experience.

I bought one other car thing from eBay and that was a sub box that goes under the rear strut bar, I've had it a few months and aside from it being tough to get in it works and looks fine, no problems yet, I know I shouldn't base all parts off of it but I gues I could say I'm more open to it. I still won't buy any major parts like turbos or anything but basic stuff why not, it's cheap enough that if it does break I'm not out that much. (sorry for basically saying the same stuff I'm just trying to justify it to myself)

I have a box just like that lol. Though it was in my car when I bought it. Maybe it came from ebay too. Who knows.

long story short I had subs before that I couldn't bring with me when I moved so I had my brother hold on to, I already had the car wired and the price was so cheap I figured why not, I ended up getting a deal on new subs a few weeks later so it worked out.

seems like a muffler delete is the way to go.

I was thinking about that, but Ive heard people do the midpipe resonator or the rear muffler and call it the same thing so I'm not completely sure which is which. I've heard deleting the midpipe resonator is louder than the rear muffler. I think doing a single exit straight muffler would be alright.

I'm with ZCrazy, as soon as you run that thing up and put a few heat cycles through it the welds are going to fall apart with cracks.

there's a very strong possibility of that but there's also a chance they won't no matter how slight that may be... I feel like I'm jacking this thread but I have a quick question, after installing test pipes do I need a tune or would it be safe to run without one for a few weeks. I know I need a tune to maximize the performance of said pipes but I haven't found anything about safety. I'm afraid of running lean and blowing my car up

Fine to run without a tune, just won't make much extra power. I ran pretty lean with HFCs + plenum spacer, but if you just have test pipes, you'll be fine. Definitely get a tune, though.

Lean a/f makes the engine run hotter which is not good on the long run.

I noticed a slight reduction in power at lower rpm but I am not sure whether it was just the tps or the summer.

Get a tune if money isnt an issue.

ill be kind of broke over the next few weeks due to turning 21 soon and going gambling/partying, but I was also thinkingof doing a few more mods before I get it tuned, or beg my parents/grandparents to chip in for the osiris, just weary of tuning myself

so the cxracing headers just came in today, upon first opening the box I have to say I am very impressed. I can't seem to post pics from my phone but when I get a chance ill post pics. they even came with gaskets and hardware so that alone is a huge plus considering they were under 100 shipped. I'm planning on installing on Saturday so ill update with fitment when I do.

Don't use their supplied gaskets. I can guarantee they are crappier than OEM. OEM gaskets are all metal and don't need to be replaced unless you burnt through them with a leak.

I have this exhaust on my 06 and it sounds dreadful after break in literally quiet in the car but so screaming loud outside and high pitched and raspy people will hear you coming a mile away. By the way I do have HFC's and a stillen Y-pipe its just awful! Switching over to the new ebay quad muffler Racing guys exhaust will let you know how that one sounds $212 shipped isn't bad. I'm the king of cheap ebay exhausts this will be the 5th one I'm testing and I will put up a thread of all of them compared soon! that way we can all make the right choice on budget exhaust.

I have one on my 2004 g35 for a year now. I installed the magnaflow xpipe and got the tips lined up and I'm happy. It sounds awesome. I removed the resonators that is where the rasp came then put in the x pipe. I've had so many people ask where I got it. I should put up a sound clip no rasp at all. You should get what you want to put on your car I am not about to spend about $1000 bucks for an exhaust that puts out less power than the original. Also my welds are still intact and tips aren't rusted either.

The only people happily running Ebay exhausts are the owners of 350Z's who take their cars to shows on the back of a trailer and probably start the car up once a month for 5 minutes. Sorry to be so cynical but save your money & buy an exhaust that's recognised for the right reasons, not for cracked welds and T304 stainless that rusts.
