Hi guys, new to the threads but have always used my 350z.com to get info on my new car.

I'm previously an American muscle driver but recently got a 2003 350z. The previous owner had put a lot of money and work into the car and in effort to make it my own I ordered a motordyne plenum spacer.

I looked at the finished product of what it looks like under the hood and it looks a lot like what I have now, please look at the pictures to see if I already have a plenum spacer installed. Thanks!

 

What I'm talking about is the silver, chrome colored lip that sticks out in the middle of almost every picture, is that a plenum spacer?

 

take a pic from the front of the car directly at the manifold..

 

Take a pic of the plenum , not the valve covers. It will help us a lot.

 

This what the other guys mean... A pic from the front will show the installed spacer (if any)...

I still have the big black cover that says Nissan 3.5 V6 on it. The lip I showed in the previous pictures can't be used to determine if that is infact a spacer?

 

Even with the engine cover on, you ought to be able to look at the back sides of the plenum and see if there is something between the upper and lower plenums as shown in the pictures above. If the top and bottoms meet with nothing between them, then no spacer.

 

No the pictures you provided suck and we cannot see the plenum.

 

Take the pics again, same pics, just angle the camera up slightly at the plenum this time. NOT THE VALVE COVERS.

That lip is not a spacer.
