Question CEL After Cat Delete

throwing a cel light from a cat delete. but if I reset the car it runs like new until that light pops on and my idle started go stupid on. like on take off feels like its jumping even tho im not pressing into the pedal I keep my foot locked at with a certain amount of pressure. its not the clutch its completely engaged it happens in 2nd and 1st on take off and at idle it very from 762-890rpm every 2-3 seconds it purges?..idk what he deal is I thought about trying the dual foulers but I have an 06 z and I hear rumor it wont work on this year.. id rather not waste my time doing something that isn't going to work...but im only asking if anyone else has had this issue?

You're getting the CEL because you deleted the cats, and thats making it run like d$%k. You need an Uprev tune to fix it

Or you could put your catalytic converters back on the car. That would also resolve your problem.

Non-foulers will work, I did it on my 06 before I got it tuned.

Did you follow the DIY and drill through? Reset your cel? Sorry had to ask the obvious answers because mine worked when I did it before I got a tune.
The after cat should not effect performance, a tuner basically turns off the cel light for them.

any time the cel is on the car runs in a sort of psuedo limp mode... Not to mention that the reason its on to begin with is that your car isn't running right

you need two sets of defoulers (total of 4)... drill the bottom of one set out and screw them into the regular ones.... it just extends it out a little further.... or get a shop to make some extended bungs for you

if you want the CEL off, 3 options. defoulers, Uprev reflash, or put back on stock cats

Since defoulers didnt work, and you dont wanna use OEM cats, then that only leaves 1 choice.

All the CEL does is tell the driver the cats arent working properly. There is absolutely no change in performance. Any other issuue such as idle surge, etc is completely coincidental and has absolutely nothing to do with a CAT cel.
