So when I bought the car the mufflers were removed.
Before I drove it home I had put them back on and haven't touched them since.
This was about 6 months ago.

So I remember it being a lot faster with no mufflers. Is that possible? Or was it just so long ago that I'm imaging it.

I have been running a muffler delete setup for a few months now and I can't say that I have noticed any difference in power. I think there is supposed to be a loss of power without mufflers but I did not personally feel the difference.
IMO its your imagination...

 

Keep donuts in your car, the cops are going to love you and you might as well have some treats for them as much as you will get pulled over in Van Nuys

Do you mean that as in a muffler delete is loud? Im just curious because I don't think mine is loud at all, I think its just about perfect volume level. (I still have stock cats and resonator)

Ok now I see. I have a feeling a muffler and cat delete would be an awful idea...

 

I mean Ive heard it before. It wasn't too bad. Pretty loud but not really raspy.
