Question Another CAI Thread... Hold the search comments

I'm looking to pick up a CAI to complemnt the new "sound" mods that are on or being installed. I have read great things about the JWT Popcharger and Jason from PN gave his praise to the K&N Typhoon. I've also seen some big props given to Injen and Nismo with a few cons. So to my question...

I live in Arizona and don't have to deal with flooding or many water issues. If the Popcharger or Nismo is good for places that have issues with flooding, what would be the suggestion in a situation like mine? Keep in mind I'm looking for sound, engine bay looks, and most of all... better air flow.

Popcharger is still a good buy for $100. Don't discount it just because it doesn't flood there.

That being said, I have the Injen and I love it.

All this talk about water getting into the CAI is a big myth.

In reality you have to drive your car into a lake about bumper deep and floor it to actually hydrolock it. I just think ppl on here make things into something so big.

Well where I live, in heavy rain, puddles that size form regularly on the LIE.

Good buy on the Injen-- Just drive the Stimulator when it's rainy out and all problems solved. Nice garage.

Injen used to be everyone's favorite, now alot of people rave about the pop-charger...

Intakes sound awesome. So here's my question. Will there be a sound difference between the pop-charger and the injen? If so, which sounds better?
