Default Z-Tube Pop - More Tips...

http://www.performancenissanparts.c...uide/g35pz.html

First off, Thanks to the guys over at Performance Nissan...

Here are a couple more suggestions to those that have, or will be performing this mod as I'm an **** when performing mods...

The step by step guide on the above link is a good resource, and I found a couple more steps that will be helpful and give you folks a cleaner install.

After I removed the stock air box I notice what seemed to be a water/condensation collector that attached to the bottom of the stock air box, that had to go... It doesn't serve a purpose with the new mod, and it probably is blocking some cool air.

The next thing I noticed is that there's another bracket that firmly secures the PoP Chagers new box in place, here's a pic..

Lastly, there was a lot of slack on the MAF wire, so a finished it off with a wire tie...

I haven't been able to drive or dyno it yet, but I'll get to that soon...

Pic 3 - The second bracket that comes with the PoP Charger, this is where most of the support comes from.

PIC - 5, Completed pic, there does seem to be a bit more potential for the flow of cool air with the bottom portion of the air box removed...
