Question Engine suffocate / choke....

Car loses power when accelerating, as it suffocate / choke....
This problem begins after i installed an aFe open filter kit, has replaced air flow sensor, the problems remains...
If i stop and turn Engine off for 1-2 minutes, problems goes away but will come back later when i drive..
What can it be..??

Install the stock airbox, bring the intake system back to stock and see if the problem still exists

sounds like it is going into 'limp' mode, bet you have an air leak somewhere... like terrasmak said, go back to oem and see if it still happens

+1 either a leak or the sensor it taking "incorrect" readings and forcing the car into limp mode.

If you can take a picture of the car what you have installed. We may able to see and help you to resolve the issue.

Had a bit of a hurry, the car went back into "limp mode" with orginal air intake when I took a long ride ...
After much searching I found the problem, also saw that it had been up to this forum: I had changed the tail light bulb, to an LED ..!
ECU box went "bananas", changed back to the original bulbs, now the car runs properly with the aFe intake kit.
You learn as long as you live ...

It's not the tail light bulbs.

Explain why you think it would be the bulbs?

To make a long story short, according to the mechanic ...
LEDs volts (must have a resistance ?) sends a signal to the box / anti-spin / throttle damper, that the car brakes, causing the throttel damper closes down to 17%, car goes to "Limp mode", no error codes in the box. That is the explanation i got from the mechanic man.
Have driven the car 350 km, not a shred of an error, goes perfectly ...
Before the car went 40-50 km, then error ...
I'm no expert, but I fully believe that this was the problem.
But if you have an better explanation / solution why it goes to "limp mode"
without error code, pls tell me.

Several years ago I replaced every single filament bulb in my Z with an equivalent LED. Not a single issue. That's all I can tell you, but if your car is OK now, then leave it alone.

?? Did the LEDs you installed also have 35-50 watt resistors wired in?
They make the car's computer see the LEDs as standard incandescent bulbs.
If not, that's your solution to having your cake & eating it too.

I got four dirt cheap (under $7) on eBay and no fuss from my car.
Just search for 4x LED Load Resistor - delivery did take maybe 3 weeks, but then again, I didn't pay $50 and up
.
