My plenum is very shiny from the new powder coat process and gets that odd reflection when under light like a flash, it looks great in person.

Crawford Z Performance would like to offer our evolutionary Version 5 plenum to both new customers and our loyal existing customers. The Version 5 is different only in appearance from our earlier versions, but offers identical performance.

If you currently have one of our earlier model modified plenums, but prefer the look of our new version, we will offer the Version 5 on an exchange basis. Simply call Doug at 615-327-4159, M-F 8-5 CST to order. We will ship your Version 5 based on production availability, on a first-come, first-served basis. The modified plenum you currently have will be returned to us when you receive your Version 5. The cost for the upgrade is $195.00, with an additional $595.00 charge if the original modified Crawford Z Performance plenum is not returned.

If you currently have the stock Nissan plenum and would like to truly enhance the performance of your Z, the price for the Version 5 is $395.00, with a $200.00 core charge. The core charge will be charged only if you elect to keep your stock plenum and do not return it to us.

Customers will be responsible for all shipping charges.

We appreciate the support of everyone in the Z community, and are glad to have the opportunity to provide proven performance upgrades for your Z. Please call if we can be of help or if you have any questions.

Is it a direct bolt on for the G35 or do I have to modify anything?

Well if it is the same thing as the one I have just looking prettier. I think you can count me out. I got a kick out of the guys at the track looking at my plenum like DAM that is not stock. Your new one looks so tame in comparision. Thanks for making such a kick *** product Doug!!!

So what's the second hole on top for and how (and by how much) have you decreased the noise level? Would you say you are at or near stock noise level? Looks very nice, Doug; considering the trade.

The underside design is now very similar to stock... full screw points and all.

The second is again to further reduce noise levels.

I thought the Z it was fitted on was stock... until I looked under the hood and saw the plenum.

No more woo wooo....

My plenum with two bolts should be here tuesday and I will take a sound clip for you.

I can't speak for Crawford, but as Doug explained it to me, the bolts that cause the most problems are the two side bolts in the front row of three on the stock plenum. These bolts are still deleted from the Crawford plenum, so flow should be the same.

I just ordered my new one.

Thanks Doug, you'll get my old one back when I receive the new and improved model.

Since you added the plenum after your TS flash..

You plan on having Tadashi do another for you?

Can we have a pic of the inside? Also, what were the gains from these things again?

Link to big dyno plot (you will have to click the expand to see it)

This shows baseline, plenum only, then plenum, headers, cats, JWT and TS ECU.

I will get a pic posted soon.
