Sound: not much difference over stock. I can hear it, but i'm like a bat when it comes to my engine.

Smoothness: my car drives quite smooth, but I have a 6mt.

I've enjoyed the plenum so much my next mod was going to be the headers, but I tripped a random misfire light last night so I'm going to map my A/F and possibly get a piggyback unit first, just to be safe.

What do you mean a random misfire light?

The pic of the plenum has a logo on it. Is that how they come now? If so can I get mine without it? As I had other plans for that spot...

It's a check engine light code. I got it once before about 3 months ago, so I'm just going to change my plugs and probably check my A/F ratios to be cautious.

The logo is only a sticker that will be supplied with the plenum to use if you desire.

oh dang, that's sexy, how much additional cash was needed to have it polished? Would it be possible to get in a CF overlay (or have printed CF like suite e grafx does)?

You'll have to talk with Doug on pricing, as I got this before he set up final pricing for the Version 5's.

As for the CF overlay, how thick is it? If it doesn't go over those ribs in the plunum, you have plenty of room to spare in the center.

v5 EXACTLY as shown in the pics on the first page with the only remaining weld being shown, that being the base weld... would run $595.

If you want one totally seamless, like Danny's - $795.

Is the $795 v5 comparable to the older polished plenum ($1100) in appearance?
