Installed Ultimate Racing cats today
Had my shop install the cats today after double checking my new exhaust and wow was it a pain in the *** to get those top bolts.
Anyways I have only driven the car for about 10 miles and yes it seems to perform a little better and the noise has changed quite a bit. There seems to be a little bit of rasp at around 5,000-5,500 rpms which sounds kind of cool I suppose and overall the exhaust has gotten deeper also.
I've heard it takes around 200-300 miles to kinda break in the cats so my impressions so far is that it "seems" to have given me extra oomph on the top end. No clips yet but maybe this weekend.
Overall 2 thumbs up.

I've had done good business with Utimate Racing. We bought some stuff for our old Evo. 3inch TB, Cat-Less Downpipe, and their HKS BOV kit. Service was good.
I expect they would make good stuff for the Z too.

Hopefully I can drive the car a little bit more this week as the weather seems to be void of snow (knock on wood) and I can give more impressions.
Plus I will be dynoing my car on Feb 28th to see what my gains wil be also.
