Default Nismo high flow cats?

Every one seems to be getting the rt cats. I was wondering if any one got the nismo, and what they think of the nismo cats. There double the price but was just wondering.

nismo high flow cats, rt high flow cats, crawford high flow cats

they are all pretty much the same.

i'd go with the cheaper ones.

nismo, you're just paying for the name.

for example

the aem intake and the nismo intakes are the exact same, but the nismo cost more cause brand name.

Aren't the Nismo cats better known as OEM?

Difficult to say there, little cricket. Wish we could have a cat blowout contest amongst the contenders.

Probably pretty close... but not for certain.........

NISMO sports resetting package including the cats....

no

NISMO parts are made by aftermarket companies.

So it's not OEM.

I'm organizing one, but I highly doubt JDM Nismo units will be present.

Lots of reasons.

1) Smell
2) Emissions
3) Sound
4) The fact that high flow cats flow nearly as much air as test pipes.
5) Ethics

I'm guessing by "cut the cats off" you meant use test pipes.

Yes, I know. I was being facetious, hence the rolling eyes.

Would you consider Kinetix high-flow cats in that group you listed? I ask because they appear to be priced below the others.

Thanks!

The spec I read about the nismo cats claim that they reduce air flow resistance by 20% over stock. I wonder how much the RT and Crawford reduce pressure?
