Default Greddy Ti-c single

Just bought a greddy single exhaust and I love how they sound on YouTube but some people say it is too quiet. Has anyone heard the exhaust without the resonator. I want loud but not raspy lol

What is your full exhaust setup? Or is it stock besides the exhaust you would be putting on?

If you have test pipes / Y-pipe you should expect rasp. If not, it won't be too much.

ART pipes are good at preventing rasp. Do yourself a favor and do ART pipes and MotorDyne XYZ. You'll be extremely pleased. I had the same setup except with an Agency Power single.

I want to eventually go down that route. Is the xyz pipe straight pipe or with resonator?

You can pick resonator, HFC, or straight pipe and you can always change the piece out. I had the straight pipe cause I love a loud *** exhaust.

Agree with guys above. Do not remove the resonator if you plan to do arts. It will rasp regardless how well arts eliminate it. Ask me how i know. Arts plus xyz with resonator and tic with resonator intact youll love it.

I was looking at the pictures and comparing the agency power and the greddy ti-c and the agency power doesn't seem to have the resonator the greddy does. So why doesn't the agency power rasp? Btw I think the agency power is one of the best exhaust

Actually I am going to present a dissenting view from the other two responses... and since I actually owned this exhaust for five years, I think my response probably has more weight.

The Greddy Ti-c single is probably one of the best sounding exhausts for the 350Z. With cats it is a bit muted- no drone or rasp. With straight test pipes, no resonator at all it was quite pleasing to the ears just slightly louder and still no drone and just a touch of rasp in the very high RPMS; I never thought the rasp was obnoxious though. Most other single exhausts sound like dog $hit with test pipes.

I think with ART pipes, it would sound great and I wouldn't worry about any droning or rasp.
