How long can we expect these cats to last? I know someone voiced a concern that the RT cats might not last more than a year or two... something about their unique construction. I'm not up for that. How about these ones? How is thier construction different from the stock cats?

These cats have a warranty from the manufacturer for a period of 50,000 miles.

They are the carsound/magnaflow cats if anyone wants to check into them.

Hey guys, installed the Kinetix cats by the boys at LaBree on my G coupe last week. They did a good job. Quick questions for you with the Kinetix cats. Do you guys have some sort of a burning smell after the install? I have driven the car for about 120 miles now since the install. The smell is still there, but it is not as strong as it was right after the install. Is this normal? Does the CAT element just require some sort of a burnt in period?

I think there is a burn-in period of a couple of hundred miles. I'll find out when I get mine installed tomorrow!
