May help reduce some drone but more likely, will just shift the rpm point at which it drones.

I think I will just get the resonator and weld it on. What size would I get though for the invidia n1 exhaust?
They have size 2.5 or 3 inch
Lentgh either 12 inch or 18

Didnt you just buy it? Why not just return it or call the vender and see what they say.
If not you might want to call an exhaust shop. I had to call 3 different shops before I found one that said they could weld stainless steel, and they still used garbage *** steel mig wire (I should have just did it myself)
But returning it would be your best choice if you can.
One resonator in the non duel part would work wonders though...
Stock exhaust is 2 1/2 inch piping so I would guess you would want the 3 inch resonator if you want it before the split

"With this said, the way to reduce or eliminate (hopefully) rasp (Ed. note - new: and possibly drone) from an inexpensive system is to essentially turn it into an expensive system by adding H or X pipes - X-preferred - on a dual system or mid-pipe resonator(s) of specific volume - chamber displacement, not loudness (Vibrant or Magnaflow or.....). Moral of the story: If you don't like/want rasp, figure on spending the dollars up front for an engineered exhaust OR adding to a less expensive one."
Hmmmm.....
The N1 is a single pipe, split dual system using 60mm piping. It already has a mid-pipe resonator so adding a resonator isn't likely to solve your problem because you can't effectively kill/reduce drone without knowing at what particular resonant frequency its reacting and planning out the exhaust chamber volume of the resonator to change said frequency.
You can TRY replacing the existing resonator with something like a Vibrant 1141 ("Ultra Quiet") but in the end, I'd venture that the only way to cure this entirely (and cost effectively) is to replace the entire system with something known to be quieter and nearly-drone-free. (Some examples: S-Tune, Tanabe Medalion Touring, even a dual Gemini or HKS)
I mean, after buying a resonator and having it welded in, you're up to the cost of a Gemini already and you end up with a Frankenstein system. Sell it to someone who doesn't care about the drone and volume. Buyers are out there.

In some other post on rasp, I said the following:
