After reading all the nightmares about changing cats out, I thought I would share my story. Not everyone has issues so if you want to do just go for it. Two of us did the install in just over two hours, which included a trip to Auto Zone for special socket to remove the O2 sensors. We had no lift, just jack stands, one guy doing most of the work the other assisting. It was one of those unusual days, where we really had no issues, the hardest part was the O2 sensors, those were tight, tight! The Kinetix cats went on perfect and the quality looks first class. A little deeper exhaust note, but not much difference from stock. I purchase the cats and plenum on a package deal during Christmas and saved a bunch of money and am very happy with the products.

I did my cats in my driveway also. My brother and I put the car up on 4 jack stands and knocked it out. Between the two of us it took us about 1.5 hours. It wasn't very bad at all. I have heard some horror stories about snapping bolts and other problems. One piece of advice I could give make sure to let the car cool completely down so theres no risk of snapping a bolt. Other then that a 2nd set of hands is very useful.
one word of caution on Kinetix... i had them, and got them because of the lifetime warranty. well fast forward a year and one of the cats cracked, so i called them up to get a replacement because after all "lifetime warranty".
i tried to get them to send me a replacement and i would send them the other after i swapped them out.... they wouldnt, they told me to put the factory cat back on while i was waiting for a new one... we went back and forth for a bit about how it is stupid to do the work twice, i even offered to pay for it and then they refund it when they get the old cat in their posession. they still wouldnt, then told me that it would cost more to ship it back to them and wait for a new one than it would be to go to a local muffler shop and have it welded. shortly after that, i sold them and went art pipes
