Smile Looking for exhaust knowledge.

I have a stock 2007 350z GT and im looking to make that ***** sound better. I was thinking about doing a muffler delete and putting two nice tips on it. At the same time i also want to install the AAM test pipes.
Has anyone done this or heard it before?? THanks

****REASON FOR NOT BUYING A 1500+$ SYSTEM IS BECAUSE WHERE I LIVE THE SHIPPING IS RIDICULOUS AND I DONT HAVE TONS OF MONEY TO THROW AROUND LOL

That location...

Alright. You have a few options. First, what are your emissions like?
If you know someone or are good at welding, custom builds can be done with decent results for dirt cheap. Same quality as half the poop that kids are putting on their DE's these days but for a serious fraction of the price.
If emissions aren't a problem, deleting the cats and installing straight pipes and/or resonators can cost very little, and will have a large impact on sound.

Deleting your muffler is the next best way to increase dB's. You can keep the OEM y-pipe and go single behind it for probably a couple hundred. That and the test pipes and you're very loud. Quality sound? Debatable, but it's loud.

Check used as well. There are tons of people who know what they're doing going back to stock and selling while the market turns to high school kids. Get on that wagon and get their parts for cheap.

Don't do muffler delete!!!
Just believe me - there is nothing good in this mod.
Past September my muffler gave up - it has just rusted out with no chances to rebuild. After some reading here I've decided to do muffler delete. My shop did a pretty good job - made good welding and nice custom tips. But the sound was just poor: loud, empty and raspy in city and awfully droning on highway...
I was very dissapointed and finally ordered a decent catback system - Tanabe Medallion - why didn't I do it from the very beginning?!?!
So don't try to fool yourself and spend extra money on that useless mod - just buy a good catback!!!

Good choice. You'll like the Tanabe exhaust.
