Love the pictures. Would still love to see a picture of the kinetix plenum with the stock bar over it though (can never make us happy ).

Wow! I thought I'll never see an aftermarket plenum with the stock strut bar. Outstanding job LSD!! That engine looks great.. I will definately order this.

Is there any news of development of a plenum without a dip?

I hope ppl aren't annoyed that I keep asking. :P

I'd really like to get a KR plenum, but don't want to have a dip I won't be using. I don't plan on using my stock cover after installing the plenum either cos I think it looks great out in the open!

Look at the pictures of my plenum. It's a production version and has the color fix. It matches the factory cover quite well.

I don't think it does, and also I'm sure LSD will MAKE sure the stb doesn't touch the plenum..He has been making very quality products..

Last I heard was that there would not be a different version without the dip because that would require a different mold.

I for one will be installing Kinetix Plenum and Cats immediately upon availability/ordering/receiving. Have never done a Dyno Test on any vehicle I have owned until now. Here is my baseline:
Miles: 24,000 Modifications: Borla Exhaust, Grounding Kit, Denso Iridium Plugs and K&N Panel Filter.

I know this probably is stretching things a bit but here goes...

So based on these results would my logic be accurate in stating that the Crawford Plenum + Cats vs. the Kinetix Plenum + Cats would yield you similar performance results? My reasoning is obviously based on these results in regards to the plenum and on the fact that both Hi-flow cat versions use the same converters.

If that's the case then it basically comes down to price, looks, core-charge/exchange.

Flame on...

So does anyone know when they will be available to purchase? I would like to get one. And then I will have to get an Apexi SAFC2 as well to tune it.

I would say that is a very safe assumption.

I would think both packages would post very similar gains.

The plenum will be up on our website starting this Sunday morning. As well as a discounted plenum/high flow cat package.

I for one will be using the Crawford Plenum. Don't want to have to be concerned with plastic upper plenum vs aluminum lower plenum and if it cracks or splinters, having the stuff go into my engine.

i will also be going with the crawford plenum ver. 5. I would feel safer going with something that has been out for a while.

Sunday morning around what time?

Is it first come first serve?

btw, have you ship out the initial pre-release batch (all_bark's list?)

the plenum orders placed this sunday are first come first serve, and will start shipping Feb 29th.

The priority list orders have already been placed and will ship out Feb 25th.

I would expect to see the plenum on the website around 10:30 am

It comes down to price and strutbar for me. The plastic doesn't bother be, because the lower intake manifolds for the 4.6 mustang GT and I think the LS1 are made out of plastic. No problems there with them.
