Exclamation Installed an Injen CAI... results... WOW!

Since I don't have to deal with flooding here in Phoenix I decided to go with the Injen CAI. Install took about 4 hours from start to finish (put horns and clear sides on too).

Above 5000 the sound is friggin incrediable! Everytime I jump in the STi and drive it, then the Z... I miss that blow off valve sound. Not any more. Through the Borla with the Injen it sounds like a V8.

I do have 1 issue with the Injen CAI. The tube that connects to the outside of the car prevents the hood holder from going all the way down. I'm going to take a hacksaw to it... unless someone else has a fix for it.

Overall:
4 Stars, 2 Thumbs up

Dyno to follow soon. It scares little kids and hopefully old people after some cats.

I think that the cats with your Borla will give you some noticeable power. People WILL run for their homes.

Forgot to add the fact that some of the silicon hoses wouldn't go on without a little help. I didn't have any silicon lubricant so I was trying to think of something to use to slide it on easier... Astroglide has many more uses than you would think.

Hey, the guy lives in Sun City, or someplace nearby! Yeah, I suppose you're right--they'd use their walkers to reach the front door.

Walkers and hope they don't trip in their "rock bedded" front years...

Oooooo--that was below the belt! But believe it or not, I'm more of a Packers fan. The usual Packers pregame party includes sitting around in our boxer shorts and wife beater shirts, drinking lots of booze, discharging firearms, eating cheese and brats. It's a great way to start out the game.

This intake sounds almost as good as a popcharger. Glad you're happy.

Popcharger for sure...its the only one proven NOT to lose HP, it sounds awesome and it just improves on an already outstanding stock intake design rather than reinventing the wheel. Plus its $100.

OK, Ross Perot... can you show me on the graph where the Injen intake is losing power?
