Default Exhaust work and service engine soon light

I just got new Megan Force Racing downpipes put on yesterday and a Stillen dual exhaust put on my 04 350Z last week. Car sounds great, but now there's a rattle and the driver side floor board shakes during take off and every now and then while driving. Also, the service engine soon light just came on. It sounds as if something is loose and shaking around. I just got these problems today, after the downpipes were put on. Any suggestions?

Jeebus. Crawl under the car and look

prob the heat shield rattleing or hitting on it, and pull the codes.....but i guarantee it is the downstream o2 sensors, you removed a key exhaust component. Look up bung extension, no it isn't a weave for your taint hair, and go from there

This +1

I put some Crawford HF cats in awhile back, heard rattling and just assumed it was the heat shield and then the O2 sensor fell out. Apparently it wasn't tighten down well enough so I had to order a new one.

it's definitely the heat shield on the downpipes. I haven't had the chance to crawl under the car yet and see if the heat shield is loose or not, but if it's not loose, are there any spacers I could get to fix the issue?

the pry bar won't cause any major issues if I use it, will it?

i used my art parts as the fulcrum to press against the shield.. you will be fine. you just need to make a bit of room so it isnt as close
