Default Test Pipes Too Loud?

Hey Y'all,I plan on getting some test pipes but I am wondering if the might be too loud.My exhausts are already very loud (don't know what brand bought it like this will attach pic).I already have a lightened flywheel,so plan to get the test pipes, plenum spacer, and pop charger then take it to SOHO tuning in NC for the Uprev and ARC tuning.

Think twice before adding test pipes, as they will make your existing exhaust MUCH louder!

Are high flow cats like the ones Z1 has just as high flowing as the TP but with much lower noise?

The VQ is a loud motor with a free flowing exhaust system, it just the nature of the car. You can try to clean up the exhaust note with resonators after installing test pipes but it will still be loud.

Highflow cats will still make it loud, but the exhaust note will not be as raspy and raw as test pipes would produce.

When I originally installed my test pipes with my Nismo is was crazy loud. Replaced the Y-Pipe with the Motordyne XYZ and installed the resonator and it brought it way back to reasonable. Now, it’s slightly louder than stock cats on regular driving and much louder at WOT

Since you are going the (electric)turbo route, you might need test-pipes to handle all of that extra exhaust flow.
