Default HFC - Suggestions?

As always I like to read and get as much info as I can before taking a decision and before asking any questions but so far I do not feel like I have found enough. I recently purchased a 350Z I have installed an Invidia Gemini exhaust, I originally thought about getting test pipes but upon further investigation and considering where I want to get with the car it does not seem like the best option for me so I turned my focus to High Flow Cats, I have heard very good things about the Berk but at 500 bucks seems like a bit much, I have been looking at the Z1 HFCs and they seem like a nice more affordable option, it seems like there was a previous version of this product that wasn't that good. I have been trying to find videos of the Z1 HFCs coupled with an Invidia Exhaust but I haven't been able to find any. I have been able to find some videos of the Berks coupled with the Gemini and it does sound fantastic. My concerns here are quality and sound and of course price, any suggestions/input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your time

art pipes with the gemini sounds good. but if you are bitching about $500, you will complain that art pipes are too expensive

Berk is quality. I have their HFCs paired with my TDX2 and it is a great setup. When I was purchasing HFCs, other contenders included Fast Intentions and Ultimate Racing based on other's reviews. Generally, you get what you pay for.

Stalk the marketplace and you may be able to find a used set in good condition for less than retail.

Generally HFC will last less than a stock cat, IMO any set from a known company is ok. Z1 has pretty good stuff and that is what I'm currently running on my car

How do you like the quality and sound of the Z1s?

Quality and fitment look solid, sound I like but I have headers and exhaust. I myself rather have cats than anything else, I'm not into smelling fumes tho I do have some smell with the HFC.
