Circuit Werks Long Tube that are PPE Replicas for nearly a 1/3 of the Price?
Has anyone heard of this brand or installed parts from them before? Currently on eBay they are selling longtube headers, and just from a couple of photos they look extremely similar to PPE long tube headers. The only difference I can see are the welds and collector design, but I still think they are a better design than ISR Longtube header collectors. The biggest difference is price, you can buy these new for $699, while PPE's are selling from $1900 to $2200.
Oh answered my own question haha. Guess they are cheap because they only fit manuals and not automatics either. Here is what is written in red in the description:
The important parts are the welds and collectors. I'm not a fan of LTH, but if I was going to get them it's PPE or bust, cheap isn't the way.
Yeah true, I installed shorty's and those were a pain, can't imagine doing longtubes and having them crack. What I'm most interested is how these compare to say cheaper option that people tend to buy, say OBX and ISR longtubes. Since these are designed the same as PPE, which are know to provide better gains than both of those, these would be a decent alternative if the quality is at least as good as OBX or ISR.

I've been told that the ISR LTH match the PPE, but I can't speak from experience there. I also think the cars referenced in said match were HR or VHR equipped, that also plays a role.
IIRC the PPE for the HR don't have the step down and then up right at the collector (forgot its technical name) so it would make sense that the ISR would match it.
For a DE you want that step, I have the Tomei headers myself cause I don't care for catless cars, call my old but they are loud/obnoxious and smell terrible for very little power gains.
