Default Power Enterprise Exhaust Plus the JIC Y Pipe installed

Here are the Pics of the JIC Y Pipe installed together with the PE Exhaust.

Thanks to Jason@Peformance, Jeff@Performance and Jenny@Performance for the JIC Y Pipe.

Jason - Bro I still dunno how a whole exhaust system and a Y pipe fit inside the car with 1 passenger. But hey we made it home and we were able to install them! Add to that a Yellow Diablo tried to race me on the freeway going home, funny stuff. No contest - those darn things are fast.

The PE looks nice but its too quiet. Its even more quiet than the Borla

Sorry for the 15 threads that got started. The forum was laggy and I pressed the submit new thread button for every minute that I waited for something to happen. after 10 minutes of waiting you all see the results.

More Pics...

So it's a new Y-Pipe then one pipe back to one muffler with two tips. Plus it has a resonator in there an the stock cats?
How is the power, seems restrictive so what is the feedback, I'm sure you paid top dollar?

Dyno, sound clip all that good stuff!

those dual dual tips look nice....more pics please, and don't forge the sound clips.

You mentioned they were too quiet, if you some RT cats, would the sound get louder then and fix your quietness problem?

Yeah the tips remind me of an M3. Believe me you dont need to hear sound clips. Imagine a bit more rumble than stock... thats the sound.

12SecZ: the y pipe has 2.5 inches each side then it goes to a 3 inch collector and then its 3 inches all the way to the back. CLICK HERE for a more detailed description on the muffler assembly. I believe the PE J-Spec TT Kit used this exhaust when it was being developed so it couldnt be that bad. On a stock car with a stock Y-Pipe it Dynos at +10 maybe the JIC Y-pipe adds a bit more. PE also makes High Flow Cats. I'm waiting for them to come in. Then the stock cats are gone coz they are starting to have a weird smell under boost.

I think you're getting those smells, cuz the stock cats are getting blown out!

I had a similar setup and made 20 pounds of torque the 2.5 Y into a single 3 inch then a MagnaFlow Race Muffler, posted the Dyno in 2002 or 2003, it's on here somwhere, I liked the sound and power with my Injen CAI it was a growl.. I sold it on here anddid something else, forget but anyways nice job.

nice looking exhaust! after seeing the pics, i think the normal dual tips match the Z much better than quad, but still, looks great.
