Kinetix Plenum porting?
I just sent back my 1st edition unit for the new one, but I did have a chance to look it over well. Did any of you notice the bumpy surface on the inside in the neck area. If so, did you sand the inside of the neck for better air flow?
i hardly think little tiny bumps are gonna make any differece, and if you do sand it down, more than likely you will just end up shoting that sanded stuff through your engine.

I did sand mine a little and then wiped it down real good
I think LSDUnique said with version 2, he re-mold the plenum, so there are less imprefection.. Maybe the bumps will be gone..
but I don't think it's necessary to port / sand it... Probably won't make that much of a difference...

I think a redesign of the stock manifold will improve and make more power. Maybe a fat barrel like plenum with individual runners would do it! But so far the Kinetix is good! Makes decent power for price and product.
