Crawford V5 plenum review "another"
Ok here is another Crawford V5 Plenum review.
I ordered the Black version to match my SB and I have to say it looks great. Again just like everyone says Doug is awsome to work with.
The sound of the plenum is great I was hoping it would not add much or change the way my exhaust sounded. It adds a tiny bit of a raw tone to the pitch that sounds great. As far as performance its great, the best mod I have done so far. Acceleration over 4k feels like it should, you dont get that drop off that the stock plenum gives you. I had the RT cats and I have to admit the car feels stronger adding this mod then the cats did "I no longer run the cats". I have not installed the new strut but the quality on that piece is very nice also.
I have been following the plenum upgrade for awhile and after seeing whats available im glad I went with Crawford. I cant say enough about doug and his customer service.
If you have a SB and are considering a plenum get this one

Looks great man. Also just letting you know that your old R/T cats are at a good home now. I found a major difference with them and the pulley I added, and they proved themselves on the track last night and have not gotten the raspy sound. Im looking into a plenum next. Just gotta decide between crawford or kinetix.

lotus speaks the truth. The Crawford is the best bang for the buck out there. This is my setup on my "G".
Best thing about it is, there are no issues, nothing to fix. Just the power.

lotus - how did you get that front fascia w/no nissan emblem??
Here is a picture of the mount. The design is great and can be adjusted to tighten. I think its as good as if not better than the stock mount.

Great pics. Doug called me yesterday to let me know that mine shipped. He really is a great guy to talk to. I'll probably be getting cats from him as well if I can't find a set of used XERD headers for cheap.
