Your exhaust looks pretty similar to what we will be offering in a couple weeks.

We thought the best spot to hang the mufflers was right beneath the heat shields. It worked out great and sounds awesome. Click here for the sound and complete details of the system.

The x-pipe is very nice! The only part that looks crush bent is the last bend before the mufflers. Should not make a huge difference, might even get you a little more torque down low.

no offense DanF but it really looks nothing like my setup. My setup is using an x pipe instead and mufflers all the way to the rear rather than in the middle of the car.

The X-pipe and the cross over pipe we are using achieve the same purpose and are generally located in the same spot. I was referring more to the striaght through design. Niether your system nor our system are built with the extra bends at the end.

if it was not manderal bent, the metal would be pressed at the corners.

The only area not Mandrel bent is the two bends at the back. You can see where the tubing diameter is reduced where the bend die was positioned. Not so critical that far back in the system. Exhaust gases cool and start to slow down the further awy they get from the engine. Smaller diameter tubing is actually beneficial in some designs as it helps to keep the velocity up. Expansion chamber systems are a good example. Larger headpipes into the mufflers and smaller tailpipes out of the mufflers.

i was actually thinking if i put silencers on the mufflers i might gain more power. read stuff about others doing stuff like that.

anything restrickting the muff will kill your power....i dont think the silencers will work to gain power.
