Let's see the dyno that you did?? If it is so impressive, how come we have never seen the chart?? I did ask a few times to see it. That leads me to believe that it lost HP.

Think of how much crack you could buy with 3K

You'd get the same question from people either way you go. "Are you on CRACK?"

Shipping, tax, etc. it will cost you over $2500 anyway. (Don't know exact cost.)
BTW, no more age discrimination, PLZ. I know many more stupid people older than me

Sorry VQ, you are 100% wrong. The exhaust lost power on the dyno. 7 HP if I am not mistaken. I was hinting and trying to give someone the chance to do the honest thing, but I will not let my fellow Z buddies get ripped off.

I understand that it is a high quality product made of titanium and saves weight.

but I feel if it actually made power, we would have seen a dyno sheet.

Maybe it was purchased with intent of getting some measurments and improving on the design only to market a cheaper version here? would definatley save on R&D and potentially offer a better product/value.

but, what do I know...nada

I would ADD 20lbs to my car if it would give me 7hp. Enough said.

Yeah, wait for one that costs $500-$600 and actually makes some HP instead of losing it.

My girlfriend weighs about 100 lbs. I'll just dump her and save weight and money.

Care to shars to us how in fact you know this? I hope you're not referring to the SCC exaust rig-o-crap. If you really do have a source on this, please do share.

tako, i saw an auction for the exhaust under your name. Do you have multiple or are you selling yours (if so, why?)?

guys guys guys....youre making me nervous with this topic.

Those of you who are saying the exhaust lost power need to look UP. Its like shooting your own leg off.

Those of you who are saying that the exhaust gained power...well duh, Im sure you like you legs.

In my own personal non-educated opinion, its incredible that the VQ makes almost 300hp n/a. I think that the stock exhaust is tweaked to the max with the right combo of flow and backpressure.

Here's the real deal... I spoke to the people who did the testing. What happened is the exhaust is lighter, and lost power in the first dyno... BUT, apparently they found something out about the car and are going to try to dyno it again now that they have this "newfound knowledge" hoping that it will actually create gains. The person I spoke to (who did the testing on the exhaust) wouldn't elaborate what it is they found out, and said to wait and see because the results would be released sometime in the next several weeks. Basically they don't want to release anything right now because they're not sure if the exhaust will lose or make power.

3K for something that may or may not give the Z more power is a waste IMO. As for the 20 extra lbs, dont eat at fatburger anymore.
