Default I MADE MY DECISION

ONCE AGAIN, THANK FOR ALL YOUR INPUT AND I HAVE MADE A DECSION.

I DECIDED TO GET NISMO.

From all the input and other sources, everyone is telling me that Borla does not or gives any or very little HP gain although the posting I put up just above show that Borla Headers give 11.5 HP. There seem to be a lots of inconsistancy. Even with the posting. Loosing only 1.5 HP when taking out the headers and dynoing with exhaust only!!! It just doesn't make sense to me.

I was thinking about buying a DC stainless steel Headers because of the great price (around $650)but it will not be availible for another few week and on the dyno someone posted, it was loosing HP & TQ at low RPM. Even with similar Max gain as NISMO, it loose low end.

As for Stillen, for that price, I would get NISMO. Stillen tends to exaggerate their gains. They said that Stillen Exhaust gave 16HP but I have never seen a DYNO where Stillen Exhaust gave 16 HP other than the one they produced. I just don't trust what they claim.

Nismo on the other hand is kind of expensive but they are known to be built with quality (at least the newer ones). As for HP & TQ, it has very nice consistant gain through out the band with out loosing any HP or TQ in lower RPM. I also happen to get a GREAT DEAL on brand new one $900 +$20 shipping= $920. Really can't beat that deal on Brand New Nismo Headers. That even lower than Stainless Steel Headers from Stillen.

Once agin, THANKS FOR ALL YOUR INPUT and I hope Borla comes out with Great New Headers that will produce good gain and a great price for future Header buyers.

Thats All Folks

Another way to tell what the best header is, to go on ebay and find who is selling their headers. If there are more people selling their used parts than any other part. Must be HP sucks, no gain. despite whatever they say on the ad.
I have Borla headers, not too impress with them, but again. At the time, other alternative is Nismo. But, they were really pricy.

I have a set of Borlas,
I bought them because I didnt want to spend $1000+ on headers, but then shortly after receiving them I changed my mind and wanted to go w/ the Crawfords instead. Ever since I've been trying to get these Borlas off my hands, even at a loss, and I haven't had any luck yet. I think since everyone that wanted headers for cheap just picked up topspeeds, I wont find anyone in the market for a set of cheap borlas anytime soon. They are brand new though, never been used.

Do the NISMO Pkg. Header, Exhaust, and Cold Air Intake. Then you'll feel a difference. 13 hp, 6 hp, and 5 hp respectfully. I did it back in Sept.
