will Helix Test Pipes Throw Check engine Light?

Without a Cat to block raw gasses the O2 sensor sould always show a positive feed back. This is the reson the Cats are there in the first place and the post O2 sensors are there to tell you your Cats are failing. Hence, no cats no filtered gasses, positive feed back from post O2 sensor
My O2 sensors come on after running my car for about 3000KM after new oil change. Once I do a new oil change the idiot light gose out. hummm I wonder why?

I get this to. I have Stillen race pipes. I believe its the ringing sound of one the components of the exaust system. Maybe the resinator. I believe this is due to the increase in exaust presures after having removed the cats. Sometimes if there are little extra extetions of pipe metal where the welds are they will vibrate. Maybe its the compression rings (seals) between the flanges.

Well, my SES light is on and I don't think I damaged the 02 sensor. I am going to check with my local auto parts store and see if they sell an 02 Simulator.

Maybe you're burning oil ???
There is obviously no pattern at this point. Perhaps its the year (I have an '02 build), perhaps it is the brand after all...perhaps it's just luck and mine will throw one tongiht...who knows. I do know that 02 sensors are pretty sensitive and you have to be careful...some people may be burning theirs out...

I got my helix TP on and got no CEL for 3 days, then BAM!! It came on.. Now I can reset my ECU, and the CEL stays off for a few days then comes back....Nothing is wrong with my o2 censor..

DIE DIE's situation is tottaly normal.
I do burn a little more than normal amout of oil, mostly due to my driving style, and it does cause the O2 sensor indicator to come on. I've tested this theory by reducing my oil consuption (through less agressive driving) and the light does not come on.
Well, last nite die die and i reinstalld his stock cats. he has since driven 170 miles without the cel, so we proved that damaged 02 sensors are NOT the ONLY cause of the cel coming on.
