Hey whats up everyone. I just ordered my plenum, how long do you think it will take until I get it. I would rather hear it from you guys that recently ordered one. thanks.

 

ordered 3/19.......still no plenum. Still very excited.

just kidding. eagerly awaiting for fedex or ups everyday.

 

It is worth the wait... I understand he has been out of town w/ family this past weekend. He is working to update v1 plenums to v2 for people (including myself). I think he is doing a terrific job in taking care of his warranty claims before distributing new merchandise.

anybody get there plenum yet?

 

They are in the proscess of "beefing it up for FI applications" and wont ship out anymore until that is done. I know that they told me mine should ship by Monday and it will be the new, stronger plenum.

In another thread a few people are expecting their plenum to ship out Monday. So I'd imagine other peoples are as well.

ordered mine on feb 20th got it friday the 16th....got it on....still trying to decide how i feel about it.....went to the track and lost 4mph in the 1/4 mile and 2 tenths....but when i got home the bolts were loose....didnt have any leaking i dont think (smooth idle....).....but i added more thread lock and tightened them again....so ill try things out tommorow

 

Kinda off subject but still involves Kinetix. I ordered my test pipes 4/1 and still havent gotten them. Getting kinda upset, whys it taking so long?

 

I FINALLY GOT MY PLENUM LAST WEEK! I just installed it this weekend! Everything went almost perfectly. Small stuff, like the inserts weren't straight, so we have to push a bend a little. But other than that, most of the stuff fit perfectly. We used high temp silicone seal as well, no leaks, whatsoever! I was surprised! It was perfect!
I heard there is a little whining or whistling noise. But after I installed it, it's not whistling or whining, it's roaring. I think this is what people were referring to as the baby diesel. I totally have a baby diesel sound, is that normal?
But other than that, it's awesome. I haven't done an ECU reset and really driven it. But it runs good. :-) Sounds kind of wierd, becuase you do tend to hear a good amount of volume of noise from the front of the vehicle now. Not just the rear (exhaust) anymore.

My friends Crawford plenum has this sound. I'll have to wait to get mine to see if mine does it.
