Default Which is louder: Stillen or Nismo Exhaust?

I know that Stillen has more hp output than Nismo, but I havent heard either one in person. I have heard clips of both and cant decide. Which one is louder?

I have Stillen exhaust and I LOVE the sound. I just think its over priced. As for sound, its not throaty at all. It has very smooth deep sound. Like I said, I LOVE the Stillen sound not because I have one but I really like the deep smooth sound.

In my opinion, I think Nismo is little louder and has more throaty sound. Nismo almost sounds like stock muffler except it lounder.

Have you thought about Borla?

My friend has one and is has pretty good sound. Its just little lounder than stock but he price is good & HP gain is pretty good too.

if sound is your bag, wait on the injen. or get the stillen if you can afford it.

but I dont see the benefit to the nismo vs these 2. least power and not the lightest.

your only variable is sound. which is subjective.

Also, do you think that the 1985c will be louder or quieter than the angle tip version.

sposed to be slightly quieter(probably still the loudest, or way up there), but theres not too many reviews of it.

ACTUAL release date unknown. its had a rolling release date thats always about 2 weeks from now.

You know, I've never heard an Injen in person, but I would bet a buck that the Topspeed Pro-1 exhaust is the loudest. Without the silencers and with stock cats and Y-pipe, the 3" is LOUD. I love it though, I think it is the most exotic sounding exhaust I've heard for the 350 yet - it reminds me of the 550 Maranello race cars I've heard at the Daytona 24. And yet with the silencers in place (2 minutes on or off) it's only about as loud as the Borla.

Here are some video clips - right click and "Save as". The dyno run is my car, and the on-road clip is another owner in the Dallas area. Enjoy! Topspeed Exhaust Videos

Default Dyno Video

My server is intermittent, maybe it's easier to attach the videos here. This is my car on Dynapack dyno, which hooks up directly to the drive wheel axles.

OK - that didn't work, maybe the file is too big, now I'm trying to attach the drive-by of another owner's car...

Heard them all in person. Nothing is as loud or intimidating as the RS*R. That's one LOUD exhaust. It could quite possibly drown out the Injen SES's tone.

It's a very bassy low frequency tone that bounces off surrounding walls.

okay so i LOVE the stock exhaust note, the growl is catchy, i just wish

a) more hp
b) stay close to stock note, but louder
c) shed a little weight on the deal

so whats the consensus here guys?

I've heard Nismo is the closest to the stock note, just louder.
Borla duals are similar?

The Topspeed is a copy of the RS*R, I believe, so they probably sound very similar. Download the videos in my link (if my server works) and let me know. I'm pretty stoked because I got my brand-new Topspeed Pro-1 3" version for $365 shipped (!), gotta love eBay...

How much does the topspeed system claim in horsepower? Is it a true dual?

only injen, stillen, and borla are true dual at this time. and to my knowledge the 3 lead the pack on hp. but the singles arent far behind. <1hp less
