Default Giving in wanna buy Pop Charger - where's the cheapest place in LA?

Ok after reading thread after thread (and now even more threads w/o search) regarding the jwt pop charger I've decided to get one, if anything just to hear this "sound" everyone is raving about.

I think they're about $100 but was looking for a recommendation of somewhere in the Los Angeles area where I can go pick one up. I live in Santa Monica.

Thanks all!

so how does that make it sound better? and isn't $100 for something that allows your engine to "breathe" kind of cheap? also does putting that in the car void the warranty?

its that cheap because ure still using the stock 350z tubing... apparently it's the most effective compared to the other intakes. costs at least half if not more than other intakes too.

how does this "sound" sounds that everyone is raving about it? Is it the kind of "hissing" we hear from the Porsches???

Well, yeah, but they really only need to know about it if that's what causes your engine to go.

Do you mean hissing when you hit the gas?

If you mean this sound, this is the sound any intake makes as it sucks in air. Adding a new intake or a POP charger increases the sound of the engine. That's what everyone is talking about.

You have to realize that there are different types of loud. There is loud for a reason and loud for the sake of loud. This is loud for a reason. The more air and fuel get into the engine, the louder the engine. Unless you just think the engine is already too loud, you'll probably engine the sound. But if you do think it's too loud already, then you better stay away from any mods that affect your engine and exhaust.

agreed Dirn. I LOVE the way the car sounds at 5k-6600k with the popcharger. Thats the only time you really hear it. Besides the slight "hiss" at regular driving

Thanks to Jeff @ Performance Nissan for giving me a great deal on the Pop Charger.

Just finished installing it, took it out for a few runs and....

WHOA! There's a hissing snake and a lion under my hood now!

As others have stated this mod is worth it for the sound alone. Butt dyno concludes that there may be a little more umph up top. Can't wait to take it onto the freeway tonite!

OK this thing definitely has my attention, I'm know I need one even if I have no idea why. I just have some questions that maybe some of you can answer.
Being that the "filter" is no longer in that box, what happens if I hit a puddle, will water go in my engine? Also do I have to replace it more often due to dust and other debris that may get sucked into it?

On my previous cars any mods I did were to the exterior and stereo, hell I don't think I ever even opened the hood of any or my previous cars but there's something about the Z... but that is the reason as to why I'm rather ignorant to engine mods. Any info will be appreciated.

Water isnt an issue with this intake. You dont have to replace it from dirt either, you simply clean it and "re-oil" it every few months.. You have to buy a recharger kit. $7 for the K&N recharger kit at Advanced Auto.

Here are some gtech runs of my popcharger before and after. Note, I ran consistent times stock. Used gtech MANY times on my Z and always got around the same time.
