Hmm... You do have the most tempting to me exaust combonation though.

Did you get both installed at the same time? If so how did they sound seperatly, and then what was the change in sound and performance you felt when you added the second one?

I did have the Xerds installed and kept the stock exhaust and it took a few days to get used to the sound but it did sound pretty bad *** when getting on the throttle. I will be SC soon so changed out the exhaust to the Borlas. Now it really sounds bad *** when getting on it. Plus from a butt dyno perspective only it definitely feels like it got some good HP gains.

How loud is it compared to stock with that combonation, and what is the exaust note like?

IMO its probably 50% louder (remember no cats) and the tone is a deeper growl, more throatier. It really is a great combo. I may eventually check into the Greddy Evo 2. ACP who is a member from Naples has the Greddy and its REAL nice.

Check eBay, I bought mine from some guy in Dallas who bought a bunch from Topspeed when they first started making them, and he was blowing them out. The Topspeed website price is $759 for the 3" version and I got mine for $365 from this guy! AMAZING deal, you gotta love ebay...

Here is the link to the eBay auction I won:

You sound like a smart young man. In my opinion leave your stock exhaust alone( it really is a very good exhaust) and put your hard earned money into mods like Pop Charger $125.00- UR Crank Pulley with new belts $200.00 and maybe even a Kinetix plenum $389.00. If you add this up its about the same price as Borla True Duals and I think you will like the performance gains that you get from these mods. I have all the mods listed plus several more and hope that you keep that Z. Its a great ride.

Anybody know where I can get a UR crank pulley with appropriate belts for $200.00?

350Zluvr,

Try 350zforums.org. UR crank pulley $188.00-not sure if belts are included. Click on perfomance.

I looked it up, and the RS*R Exmag GTII doesn't come with a Y-Pipe either, so the TopSpeed Pro-1 seems to be an exact copy. Here's a picture of the RS*R:

Here's a picture of the Topspeed Pro-1:

Vivid Racing is selling the RS*R for $849 (RS*R at Vivid Racing), and Topspeed sells their Pro-1 direct (Tospeed Pro-1 3" exhaust) for $739 (2.5" version, +$20 for the 3" version), if you can't find a better price than buying direct (I got mine from eBay for $365 brand new!), I guess I'd go for the RS*R for $100 more.

I'm debating on getting a Y-pipe also. The cheapest one I've seen is the NFC motorsports for $285, but you could also get a crank pulley for a little less, and might have better gains. From all the research I've done on here it seems that there is a limit to the amount of HP you can get from exhaust mods on a NA car (seems to be 15-20 rwhp with headers, cats, cat-back exhaust). I've already done a dyno baseline and gotten 8-12 HP from the Topspeed, so I would look to other areas (Pop Charger or Pulley) before I spend more money on the exhaust side with the car as it is.

Eventually for the exhaust side I would like to do the high-flow cats and Y-pipe for a nice flow-through in preparation for FI, either Greddy TT or Vortech.

Thats a good price if installed. The best price W/belts was 220.00 but did not cover install. It takes about 1-2 hours for the install, that is if they know what their doing and have the proper tools to loosen the pulley. If they don't have the proper tools you better make sure these guys have been working out cause its a B**** to get that pulley loosened. If you decide to go with the pulley and have any questions about the install,PM me.
