I beliebe both Kinetix and Crawford share the same gains. 8-9 rwhp?

Crawford may be stronger and all, but it is more expensive, you have to give up your stock one, and you have to buy their strut tower bar if you still want one.

My personal choice ( oviously ) would be Kinetix because you get to keep your stock STB and Plenum.

Most people may not know, Kinteix is in the process of making their plenum much stronger to withstand FI applications.

i guess i should wait till kinetix reinforces their plenum, becuase i dont really wanna buy a new STB and i will eventually be going FI but i dont want to waste the money on a new plenum and have to buy a new STB....so i guess i should just wait then....when do u think they will come out with the new reinforced plenum? and how does it look? any pics to share since the search tool is down...and has been down for along time....

How are they made stronger now? is it thicker material? or braces under the plenum? thanks..

yeah Im curious as well.... Im a tad skeptical of shooting 6+psi into something that isnt made of metal.

specially when the unstrengthened version has trouble with 6ftlbs of torque on its bolts. Id hang back and see what happens for now. someone else will find out if it works or not.

I couldnt tell ya how its changed. All I know is that theyare "beefing it up for FI applications" and they are only sending out the beefed up versions now.

I dont plan on FI anyways, so it's all good for me.

Wow, I'm on the monday ship list also!
It's supposed to be solid and will be guaranteed up to a certain PSI.

Apexi: it's got new bracing, stronger plastics, and it's thicker in all the high stress places.

Best plenum - IMO, go with the Crawford. Yes it's more expensive, because you have to give up your stock plenum. But it's the one that has been proven. The kinetix = No hits, no runs, many errors. The Crawford, just plain works.

Id agree with lowrider, so far anyway, see what this new plenum offers, but for 600$ you keep your stock plenum too, you dont have to give it back. so it ends up being 200$ more. for FI I think thats worthwhile, might be overkill for NA, depends. you worry about enough things breaking in FI last think you want is to blow the plenum up.

I think their talking about what would now be V.3

V2 was the same as V1 but had sleeves in the holes. and maybe slightly different casting methods, or thats how I understood it.
