I was told that there was a weak batch out that crackedat the center bolt.

The newer V3 plenums should fix that problem.

All I know is if that thing ever implodes on me and my engine sucks in plastic chips and bolts after awhile of being installed correctly, there is gonna be hell to pay.

They did not crack right away, only 5 days later. Seems like the plenum expands and contracts allot.
Which version(s) are you referring to. Also what is Kinetix saying about your problem?

They have been great to work with even as the plenums have cracked, they are guaranteed and have replaced them quickly with a better version each time.

Lets not forget that this is a work in progress, getting better every time.

I highly recommend Kinetix!

when the plenum crack, it does not break up, so you don't have to worry about sucking in plastic particles.. You WILL notice it when it's crack, because the car sounds different and it will idle rough.

I am in the same situation. I ordered it Mid-March thinking it would be delivered and installed way before my May 7th meet down the Cape. Now I am on the borderline and I know how things usually work out, badly.
