Default Test pipes or high flow cats

What should i get high flow cats or test pipes, what will give me a better sound and which one will give the most hp?

From everything I've read on this board: test pipes will yield the best gains +2 (give or take)but tend to be raspy and are not road legal and will not pass emissions. High flow cats depends on manufacturer but tend to be less raspy and have similar gains as test pipes as well as pass emissions (matters on manufacturer). As far as loudness is concerend test pipes > high flow cats.

Test pipes will give you more HP, but they are louder and have more of a raspiness past 3000 RPM. I personally like the different sound, as it now sounds like a sport bike Test pipes also smell pretty bad, but I guess It's worth it. SCREW THE ENVIRONMENT! Just kidding.

I personally hate the sound of rasp, sooo no test pipes for me.

just dont carry any flamable stuff when walking behind your car if you are going to get test pipes. And yes you will def notice the difference.
