Default Injen upper intake pipe?

I was thinking about buying just the upper part to use for my nitrous install and was wondering everyones thought on how the engine heat would affect the metal piping. I just dont want to put a hole in my stock pipe for the jet.

it would be cheaper to put a hole in ur stock pipe rather then buying the metal one and putting a hole in that.

you can find someone selling their stock intake setup on this website. most people with a CAI try to sell their stock setup.

if your going with nitrous, you should also get an intake. intakes are over rated on their own, but they do help with nitrous and other FI mods u put on. im not saying you HAVE to get an intake with nitrous, but it helps.

Well I already have the jwt popcharger and a guy on a different forum is selling his upper pipe from his injen intake. So I figured I would just buy it.

So what do you think? Would it be better to buy that or another stock tube?

Default Stock Intake

I have used both and it really doesn't matter. Make the entry point for your nozzel on the underside of the tube and then if you discontinue n2o use just plug the whole and no one will ever know. I'm using a different entry point now ( TB ring ) and have plugged the original whole. I've also learned that having "two" of everything when playing with n2o isn't a bad idea!! If you can get one cheap, buy it!
