Default XERD Headers

Anyone have these headers and if so what are your opinions on it? I've been searching for some long-tube headers and these seem to be the most affordable ones on the market right now. Also how hard is installation? I hear headers on the Z is a major PITA.

It seems the only reason to get full length is for race use only. Cause you have to switch out your headers in order to put your cats back on come emissions time.

Why are they getting rid of them? I was under the impression that they were some of the best longtube headers for the Z? Also don't longtube headers give you more top end power when compared to a short tubed header coupled to a race pipe?

full length headers take the place of cats/race pipe. if you still want cats, you have to have a custom exhaust setup.

I will not point out which team... nor which header they chose to go with.

Do know... when they dyno'd the new headers they QUICKLY chucked the XERDs and made sure all their engines had these new headers on them.

haha, judging from the history of your previous, posts I'm guessing the headers they chose to go with were the crawford headers. And also does Crawford have a new design out? I remember when they're headers were first released and the only thing holding me back from purchasing them was the price.
